About Guy Douglas

Guy specialises in commercial litigation and dispute resolution with a focus on various areas of law such as property and leasing, building and construction (including arbitrations and adjudications), corporations and partnerships, professional negligence, deceased estates and trusts, employment law, planning, and general contractual disputes.

He has extensive experience representing clients in federal and state courts and tribunals throughout Western Australia.

In addition to his courtroom advocacy, Guy also leverages his legal expertise to assist clients in structuring agreements and drafting legal documents with the aim of preventing costly disputes.

He established his own firm in 2013 after working as a partner at Hotchkin Hanly lawyers. Before that, he gained valuable experience as a lawyer at Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King and Wood Mallesons) in Perth and Melbourne.

While I had hoped for Guy, Tahnee took my case. First impression was her youth but she is a more than capable practitioner with a razor focus on the facts, able to quickly give a clear view of all aspects of the situation and an ability to draw up a very impressive letter.
