About Katherine Neilsen
Katherine is a passionate lawyer with a strong background of experience in Family Law. She has practiced exclusively in the area since completing University in 2015. She has previous experience working for specialist Family Law firms, as well as working for a Judge of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia – Family Law Division (as it was then known).
Katherine has comprehensive experience working on a range of Family Law cases and achieving resolutions through expert negotiation and skilful advocacy. She has represented clients in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and NSW Local Court. She has represented clients in mediations, conciliation conferences and round table conferences. She has worked on highly complicated matters, including Appeals matters.
Her clients and the cases she has been involved with range from high net-worth individuals, to overseas residents with concurrent domestic and international court proceedings, to parenting cases with challenging circumstances. Katherine also has experience working on spouse maintenance cases, Child Support cases, Financial Agreements and Consent Orders.
